The female, or receiving, component for the collection-system of 'hot dogs', an imagined, staged, wall-driven centrifuge proposed for separating oil and water from a spill into 5 fractions .

The yin's inner and outer lips ~ or petals, as one sees them ~ would hold the yang component, (not shown), with its end in the opening of the yin's inner chamber ; against the back wall of which the yang would direct a stream from one of the centrifuge's sumps .

The shape of the yin's inner chamber is intended to divide the stream from the yang into counter-rotating vortices, turning away from the area of the yang's seat and seals, to minimize fluid leakage past them into the environment .

As the yin is stationary in this proposed model, but the yang turns with the centrifuge body, vibration will be an issue . Manufacturing the yin's lips out of (gold plated) spring-steel could enable them to move with vibration while maintaing a seal .

Yin's antechamber provides an adaptable space where fluid escaping from the main chamber could be collected and returned, or where a pressurized reservoir of lubricant could be maintained .

To the common property of humanity .
